Skull-a-Day

Have you heard of Skull-a-Day?
I realized it's a lot bigger than just skull fans on the web the day Meryl's Poetry magazine came with Skull-a-Day's rose petal cover art.
Keep an eye on it, some days are more awesome than others. A couple days ago, the skull chef tattoo I did that's been a big hit was posted on the Skull-a-Day site in this post.

Also, got the brown shirts in the mail, as well as the postcards announcing Albie Rock's arrival. Now we just waiting for the 15th of March. If you work at a shop or some rad place in the greater twin cities area, and would be happy to post up a postcard, email me your address, and I'll send you some (along with stickers and other goodies).

E PLURIBUS UNUM

"Out of many, one"

Awaiting the Arrival of March

Albie Rock shows up at Identity Tattoo March 15th, bringing with with him those creepy dolls he makes, some arty stuff, a desire to pump out some crazy shirts on our presses, and a week's full of tattooing.
Call the shop to set up your appointment. Stop by to see the fun, the art, and leave with a shirt and a crazy new tattoo.

An Online Store!

So, we made the first round of shirts. Todd has the goat head/rose on the front of his, and I have the hand/wing image on mine. They both have the fingerprint on the back. Black shirts, "black pearl" ink, in most mens sizes. Woman's shirts will be added shortly!
The dope thing about cartfly stores are that you can copy the code and post it anywhere, on any blog, in myspace comments, etc. And, when I update the the store, all of them are instantly updated.

Right after I received the I Want Your Skull zines in the mail with Todd and I's work in it, I got a International Tattoo Art magazine in the mailbox today. And guess what? Todd and I both have some pieces published in this, too. This pumpkin was the start of a sleeve on the sassy Bex, who will soon be moving to Hawaii, and sun burning it every day.

Thanks to Adam from Insignia Graphics for taking my dead rubber ducky drawing and hooking me up with these dope stickers. He also made some fully die cut ones of just the black outline. As I only have about 30 of each, they'll have to be used in some wonderful way that I haven't yet thought up. But once I do, I'll be sure to document it here. Want to make a stencil with it to spray paint it around your city, and spread the bird flu hotness? Grab the pdf here.

I Want Your Skull #4

The new issue of I Want Your Skull is out! Click here to buy your copy!
Example

Last issue, #3, Kevin McNutt and I were a part of it, and I even did the greeting card that was included in each one. This time, in issue number 4, I have work included, and so does Todd Lambright (the owner of Identity Tattoo).

Each issue gets hotter, and there's only 500 printed, signed and numbered. I'll even have a display of I Want Your Skull zines and goodies at the Philly tattoo convention, if they're not sold out before then.

Bookmark I Want Your Skull for almost daily updates on hot skull art from around the globe.
